I know that tax season and co-op funding do not seem like they would go together but hear me out. I know plenty of people dread getting their taxes done (me included), holding their breath to see if they will owe, break even, or get a nice refund check. But this article is for the folks that get that nice refund check. From the minute you find out you are getting a refund, you start thinking of ways to spend that cash, and it is usually on big-ticket items.

It is very fitting that this is the time of year that plenty of big-ticket items go on sale. I know they also tie those sales into President’s Day (another reason to advertise!). Items such as furniture, appliances, carpet and flooring, windows, tires, and even automobiles (offering zero percent financing) seem to happen at tax time.

Brands selling these larger items often come out with national promotions right around this time that are fitting for both tax season and President’s Day. You can help your local advertiser tie in to these national promotions and utilize their co-op funds while doing so. Below is an example of just one of these promos:

Make Clothes Last with Electrolux!

Let your Electrolux retailers know about this special offer. Get $100 back online or mail-in rebate on select Electrolux laundry pairs. Visit your local Electrolux retailers for complete offer details. Offer valid February 9, 2023 – March 1, 2023.

Below are just a few of the “big ticket” brands shown in our Co-Op Connect Platform that offer co-op funding. There are many more brands in our Platform that your advertisers can promote to get their local customers to “part” with their tax money.
