Here is the sixth story that the Localogy Co>Op Connect team has put together. Each week the topics will vary – this week it is covering both Appliances, Home Improvement, and Technology brands. They are meant to be a bit of a stress reliever or make you smile, while still calling out brands that offer co-op funding to their reseller network. Anything highlighted below is a brand that offers co-op funding. You never know, one may stick in your head and help you make a fantastic sale!

In our family, we alternate the holiday parties and 2020 is my year for Thanksgiving. Initially, I was very excited as I finished my kitchen remodel in February. I had brand new Wilsonart countertops that looked just like marble but at a fraction of the price. I got a new suite of Whirlpool kitchen appliances in fingerprint resistant black stainless and a KitchenAid can opener, stand mixer, and microwave in that black stainless color. I even had a new barnwood gray Mohawk floor installed; it was looking sharp and I was feeling very HGTV!

And then the world turned upside down and family gatherings are not the “in” thing for 2020 – it’s a Zoom Thanksgiving for us all! So instead of showing off my beautiful kitchen – I needed to make sure I had the proper equipment to “see” my family. I thought that a 32” Vizio television would be the right size in the kitchen to see faces and still see all the food that everyone is making (plus I can still show off my kitchen!). This was also the time to switch to DISH Network since I have had my cable guy out here so many times, we are on a first-name basis (and I think he made it on my Christmas list!).

Then my brother called and said we are giving up too easy – I could host in my garage! So, instead of putting the Outdoor Greatroom patio furniture in the basement for winter, it is now in the garage. He is going to bring over two Sunheat International portable heaters and we are going to roast that bird in a Big Green Egg. We can even set that television up out there to watch a football game with no fans in the stadiums! It may be a bit unconventional and a bit cold, but we are still getting together (in a small group) for Thanksgiving 2020!
