Co-op can be utilized for Father’s Day. It will be Father’s Day in just over two weeks. Now I am just going to call it like it is…are you going to make Father’s Day REALLY about Dad, or are you going to make Father’s Day all about how Dad can help with home improvement projects! Then there are a few hybrid options which I will explain in a moment.
If you want to make it all about Dad, consider items he might enjoy. If he is a “sporty” kind of guy – new golf clubs, golf shoes, and golf shirts would never hurt his feelings. If he is into fishing, you can’t go wrong with a new rod, reel, or tackle box. And, if you recently won the lottery, a new boat might be in order! If he is more of a “relax after work” guy, he may enjoy some new outdoor furniture like a hammock or an outdoor fireplace.
If you really want to get some work done around the house, you can always buy Dad a gift that makes doing some dreaded tasks more enjoyable. For instance, you can get him a new zero-turn riding lawn mower or some outdoor power equipment to make trimming all those hedges a snap. So, Dad gets a new “toy” to play with, and you get all that outdoor work done!
There are also some hybrid options where Dad will really enjoy the gift, and so will the rest of the family. I know that pretty much every Dad out there thinks they are the “Grill Master”! You can get Dad a new pellet grill or gas grill – basically, something he has never tried before and let him whip up some tasty dinners. He will love doing it, and you will love eating it. If you have a big family (or that lottery win!), you may want to put your money together and get him a spa/hot tub or a fantastic swimming pool. You can’t say the whole family wouldn’t enjoy floating around in a pool on a 90-degree day.
As you can see, there are plenty of options for Dad on his special day, and this is the time that major brands offer Father’s Day specials to entice you when shopping. If you have any advertisers (customers) in sporting goods, fishing, boating, marinas, pools, hot tubs, or hardware stores, there are tons of opportunities to utilize co-op funding for Father’s Day advertising.
