So last Thursday we posted a Co-op article about boating, let’s just flip that all the way around and talk about Snowmobiles this week! There are four major manufacturers that build snowmobiles. They are Arctic Cat – Headquartered in Thief River Falls, MN; BRP – Headquartered in Valcourt, Quebec; Polaris Industries – Headquartered in Medina, MN; and Yamaha Motor Corporation – Headquartered in Ontario, Canada.
We just happen to have all four of these manufacturers/brands in our Co-Op Connect Platform! If you work with any “sled” dealers, now is a great time to help them advertise while utilizing their co-op funds.
Below are several “Snowmobiling Fun Facts” that you might be able to use as an angle in creating a great advertising campaign(s) for your customers.
Snowmobiling Fun Facts
- There are more than four million snowmobilers in the U.S. and Canada.
- Snowmobile registrations continue to increase each year. Surveys show that 74% of snowmobiling households own 2 snowmobiles, 39% own 3!
- Interesting demographic info: the average snowmobiler is 63 years old. 14% are female and 86% male.
- The snowmobiling industry generates over $30 billion worth of economic activity in North America.
Listed below are the high-level guidelines for the 4 leading snowmobile manufacturers. For complete details, you can subscribe to the Co-Op Connect Platform.
