This is THE best time to remind everyone about available Co-op Advertising Funds – the 4th Quarter! All year long, your advertisers have been buying and selling (hopefully lots!) of brand-name products. Every time they place an order for more product(s), they earn more co-op funds. You may have helped your advertisers spend what they have earned thus far, but if not, this is a great opportunity. It also is a great conversation starter with potential new clients. Most programs run on an annual basis with the majority of them requiring the money be spent by December 31, 2024, or they will lose it – don’t let that happen!

Everyone knows that Automotive – New Vehicles is the “hottest” co-op category. So, earlier in September we published an article about other “hot” categories as they tied into Fall Home Improvement. In that article we featured a few brands that specialized in “outdoor type” home improvement – roofing, siding, etc. Let’s look at some of the Fall Home Improvement brands for the “inside” of the home. Before we look at those brands, we will look at a few Home Improvement trends for 2024 that you may be able to “work into” your client’s advertising.

2024 Home Interior Trends

  1. Interior designers stated that Forest Green, Curved Accents, and Stacked Tiles are predicted to soar in popularity in 2024. Industrial Design and Minimalism are out in 2024.
  2. Dark wood is making a comeback in 2024. A firm favorite for many interior designers, the dark wood had taken a backseat the last few years as light and minimalist Scandi style took stage – it is now back!
  3. “Rustic Vogue” is taking the place of “Farmhouse Style”. This means exposed beams, antique wood flooring, stone fireplaces and paneled walls are some standout characteristics. Rustic home décor furniture is constructed from wicker, rattan or untreated wood. The light fixtures in this style are made out of brass and similar materials.
  4. The most popular color for interior walls in 2024 is Blue Nova. This is Bejamin Moore’s 2024 Color of the year. Pantone also does a color of the year and for 2024 their winner is called Peach Fuzz. So, goodbye to beige walls and hello to some color!

Here are just a few of the interior Home Improvement brands that you will find in the Co-Op Connect Platform.
