Everyone knows the largest co-op vertical is Automotive – New Cars. We also receive many co-op inquiries for brands in the HVAC, Powersports, and Home Improvement verticals. But we always mention hundreds of verticals have brands offering co-op that folks don’t often think about. Today, we will bring up one of those verticals – books! That’s right…comic books, novels, educational, religious books, and more! Let’s look at some of the “Benefits of Reading as a Hobby”.

Reading Benefits

  • Reading makes you smarter. If you read a lot, you constantly read about things you may have never known. Not all of them will stick, but you should rake in new (hopefully practical) information over time.
  • Reading is a form of meditation. You are sitting and relaxing, getting immersed in what you are reading. Reading reduces stress, and these days, this is a HUGE benefit. It also helps you sleep – now that is not “dogging” reading. Sometimes you want to sleep but your mind keeps swirling. Grab a book and get immersed in a “different world,” it is incredible how fast you can fall asleep.
  • Reading helps you understand other cultures. Reading promotes empathy and lets you walk in another person’s shoes who may not be like you.
  • You can also get a better job and make more money. Millions of nonfiction books are out there to help you with most jobs. Business books can be incredibly rewarding and easy to understand. The language can be straightforward, fun to read, AND can help you get promoted and make more money.

Listed below are a few different book brands that offer co-op funding. Thousands of brands are listed in the Co-Op Connect platform for just about every vertical you can think of (there are even more book brands in the platform). This is a great time to help your advertisers promote these brands (and more)!
