Help your customers utilize their co-op funds for all their Labor Day advertising. Although we still have over a month of summer left, once Labor Day hits, everyone seems to shift right into school and “fall mode” (hello to Pumpkin Spice everything!). So, you might as well jump right in and help your customers with their Labor Day advertising. The most popular categories/items being promoted for Labor Day tend to be:
- Children’s Clothes and Shoes (makes sense with school starting)
- Major Appliances
- Mattresses
- Bedding (Comforters, Sheets, Pads, Headboards, etc.)
- Tech Products (also makes sense with school starting, that new iPads may be needed!)
- Patio Furniture
- Home Goods – such as vacuums, cookware, and more!
Let’s look at a couple of the brands to promote this Labor Day that appear in the Co-Op Connect Platform:
Brand Name – Product/Service – High-Level Guidelines
Whirlpool Corp. – Kitchen & Home Appliances
Accrual funds are earned based on products purchased and is earned monthly based on purchases. Dealers can receive 50 – 100% reimbursement and the amount reimbursed is based on media purchased. This program also applies to Amana, KitchenAid and Maytag.
The Outdoor Greatroom Company – Fire Pit Tables, Pergolas, Outdoor Furniture
This program is available to Silver, Gold and Platinum trade partners. Their accrual fund earned is 2% of their prior year’s purchases and reimbursement is up to 50% for both traditional and digital media.
Tempur Sealy – Mattresses & Bed Bases
This program also applies to the Sealy and Stearns & Foster brands. The Accrual funds are earned based on the different products purchased. Silver dealers receive 50% reimbursement. Gold dealers receive 50%, unless they only advertise Tempur Sealy, in which case they receive 100% reimbursement.
