As I am sitting here writing this, it is a whopping 26 degrees outside. So, I am thinking more about a fireplace than a boat, but it won’t be long before “fun in the sun” time! Boat shows start in mid-January and runs “heavy” through mid-April. This gives everyone time to find (and order) the latest and greatest boat (and boating gear) and have it in their slip or driveway ready to go for Memorial Day weekend fun. But can I use Co-op funds for a Boat show?
If you have any Boat, Dock, or Trailer customers, now is a great time to help them use their co-op funds. Not only do many brands allow you to use co-op funds for Trade Show participation, but you can certainly use it for advertising their presence at these various shows with both traditional and digital advertising choices.
This is also the time that many boat brands come out with special promotions to get folks interested in their brand. You can help your local advertiser tie into the national promotion to get more folks in their door that are ready to buy. Here is an example of these promos:
