National Kitchen and Bath Month was created in 1982 by the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association). With the holidays approaching, this is the busiest season for home remodeling of two of the most utilized rooms in your home. Everyone wants to have a fresh look before hosting all those holiday parties!

What are the Kitchen Trends for 2022?
Dark blue and black kitchens are the choice for the brave, while more calm and neutral tones are setting the benchmark for 2022. The standout color for 2022 will be sage green cabinets (think silver-toned green). As for kitchen lighting, sleek and refined is trending for 2022. For instance, under-cabinet lights are subtle, yet striking when paired with floating shelves.

What are the Bath Trends for 2022?
All-in-One Shower and Bath is going to be one of the hottest trends in 2022. Instead of a cramped bathtub with a showerhead and shower curtain, a glass divider holds a full shower and tub (with multiple shower heads). Lighting is also a big focus in bathroom remodeling with unique pendant lights being used as your “statement” piece. In smaller bathrooms, LED lighting can be used to highlight specific bathroom features or décor.
