Everyone knows that Automotive is the largest co-op category. Many dealers are well versed in the use of co-op for new and Certified Pre-Owned vehicles. They may not be as well versed in the “back of the house”, or the Parts & Service Department. It may be the case where they just do not think about all the parts that they sell on a daily basis and all the co-op that is available for these parts.
Since we are now in the Fall and Winter Car Care Season this is the best time to help your dealers fully utilize the co-op advertising funding they have earned. Millions of co-op advertising funds expire at the end of the year and there are hundreds of plans for Automotive Parts & Equipment. Do not let your advertisers lose this money!

Another “back of the house” item that may sell even more than any other product is Tires. Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, Yokohoma and at least a dozen other tire brands offer co-op to their retailer channel. Don’t forget to touch base with your dealer on the top brands they sell.
