LSA (the creator of the Co>Op Connect database), offers quite a few additional Co-Op services, one of them being Accrual Balance research.  We work with several of our Media Publisher members specifically for this service.  One of our members, working with their advertiser in Northern Georgia sells several brands of motorcycles.  The sales rep from the Media Publisher asked them which brand they sold the most, and they said Kawasaki.  The rep took the time to explain Co-Op advertising and asked that they work together to uncover any untapped Co-Op funds.  LSA conducted the research on behalf of the sales rep and received an answer….an accrual balance of $87,959.62!  What amazing timing – these funds would have expired by year end if not uncovered.  Just think of all the advertising they can do now, and all the new customer’s that will walk in their door as a result!
